*Oke-Ogun Progressive Foundation Holds Quarterly Meeting*
The Oke-Ogun Progressive Foundation held its quarterly meeting yesterday at Saki City Hall, attended by representatives from various local governments across Oke-Ogun. Following the opening prayer, discussions centered on key issues:
*Key Resolutions*
1. *Youth Unity*: The meeting emphasized the need for Oke-Ogun youths to come together for the region's progress and development.
2. *Politicians' Focus*: Oke-Ogun politicians were urged to prioritize development and unity, presenting a united front for the governorship position.
*President's Urge*
The President of Oke-Ogun Progressive Foundation, Dn.. Ojerinde, along with the secretary and attendees, urged Oke-Ogun politicians across parties (APC, PDP, etc.) to take the governorship position seriously, prioritizing Oke-Ogun's progress.
*Youth President's Report*
As President of Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths, I, Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, shared updates on our activities, including:
1. *Annual Get-Together*: Our annual event held in Iseyin in July.
2. *Fertilizer Distribution*: We received fertilizer from the Oyo State Youth Agency.
3. *University Visit*: We visited the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho.
4. *Security Workshop*: We attended a workshop on security in Ibadan.
5. *Radio Programs*: Our regular radio programs across Oke-Ogun are sensitizing the people.
6. *New Secretary*: Comrade Lateef Adewale is our new secretary, following the former secretary's appointment to another role.
7. *FUNATO Inauguration*: We attended the inauguration of vc.,Bursar, etc our FUNATO in Abuja.
*Call to Action for Oke-Ogun's Progress*
Col. Dr. Adegbola Gbenga (Rtd) has issued a stirring call to action, urging sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun to foster a positive mindset towards the region's development. He emphasized the importance of preparing for the future, rather than just focusing on the present. Additionally, he cautioned Oke-Ogun indigenes against betraying the region's interests by aligning with external zones, urging them to cease such practices.
*Support for Governorship Aspirants*
The Oke-Ogun Progressive Foundation appealed to all governorship aspirants from Oke-Ogun to collect party tickets, assuring them of the region's unwavering support and signalling a united front for progress.
