*WE ARE NOT GOING TO QUIT THE RACE*

The journey toward securing the governorship seat for Òkè-Ògùn in 2027 is not a fleeting ambition; it is a divine mandate, a collective awakening, and a movement of destiny. We have started this noble cause with conviction, courage, and commitment — and in spite of all the odds, challenges, and constraints, God has sustained us for almost a year. Having come this far by faith, why should we give up now? This is not the time to retreat; it is the time to redouble our resolve. The glory of every great struggle shines brightest at the end, and we are prepared to endure, persist, and prevail until the dawn of victory breaks upon Oke-Ogun land.

We are at a defining stage — the stage where history is written. Every generation has its story; this is ours. A story of resilience, unity, and faith in the face of decades of political marginalisation. The end shall be glorious, and the song shall be of triumph. But, for that glory to manifest, every son and daughter of Oke-Ogun must rise in one voice and one spirit to pursue this cause with genuine love and unwavering patriotism.

Our first responsibility is clear: go and register, collect your Permanent Voter’s Card, and prepare to vote. This is not the time for voter apathy, indifference, or lethargy. Our destiny is in our hands, and our power lies in our votes. Let no one buy your conscience with money — for money, no matter how much, will vanish, but the future we fight for will endure for generations. A governor from Oke-Ogun will not only bring pride to our people but will redefine the story of development, equity, and inclusion in Oyo State.

We are not against any region. Our aspiration is not born of bitterness but of fairness. Just as Oke-Ogun has stood with Ibadan and Ogbomoso in their times of political ascendancy, we now seek their moral support in the spirit of equity, justice, and inclusivity.

And, we earnestly call on our brothers and sisters from Ibarapa and Oyo to stand in solidarity with us in this noble pursuit, so that together we can achieve our collective aspiration — with the firm assurance that when it is their turn, Oke-Ogun will reciprocate with equal commitment, loyalty, and goodwill.

True progress is when every region has a fair share of leadership and development opportunities. That is the Oyo State we envision — a state where unity is strengthened through justice and mutual respect.

To those few among us who have chosen to betray the collective interest for selfish ambition and fleeting rewards, let it be known: it will no longer be business as usual. The era of selling out our people for personal gain is over. We are mobilising, enlightening, and uniting our people against every form of sabotage and deception. Oke-Ogun will no longer be a pawn in the political chessboard of others.

We are resolute, we are focused, and we are moving forward. The struggle for Oke-Ogun's governorship is not just about politics; it is about identity, dignity, and destiny. Let us stand together, persevere together, and triumph together — because the glory, indeed, is at the end.

We are not going to quit the race. We will fight, we will endure, and we will win — by the grace of God.
