*Building the future through BOOKS: A call for library donations to the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO)*

Knowledge is the foundation upon which every great nation is built. As the newly established Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) takes off, one of its most urgent and critical needs is the development of a world-class university library, a sanctuary of learning that will serve our students, university staff, and the general public.

We therefore make a passionate appeal to individuals, scholars, institutions, organizations, and well-meaning Nigerians at home and abroad to donate library materials that will help us build this vital resource center. A sound library is the heart of academic excellence; it nurtures curiosity, supports research, and drives innovation. For a young university like FUNATO, a strong library will not only enhance teaching and learning but also play a pivotal role as we prepare for resource verification and accreditation by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

We welcome donations of books, journals, handbooks, dictionaries, reference materials, and other learning resources whether new or gently used. Donations can cover a wide range of disciplines, including Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science), Agricultural Sciences (Veterinary Medicine, Crop Production, Crop Protection, Animal Science, Forestry, Fisheries, Food Technology etc), Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, Languages, Philosophy, related fields, e-library, e-journals etc

You can also help by leveraging your personal and professional networks abroad to secure book donations from institutions, libraries, and individuals willing to support this noble cause. Even partial donations from your home or office library can make a significant impact.

This initiative is not just about books, it is about investing in knowledge, shaping minds, and building the intellectual foundation of future generations. Our children, and those yet unborn, will forever be grateful for your generosity.

Please inform us of available materials or donation points, we are ready to make arrangements for collection.

Together, let us build a library that will inspire excellence and innovation at FUNATO.
