*THE YOUTHS ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF THEIR COMMUNITY*



On January 2, 2026, the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum (OOIYSF) participated in the Ofiki Indigenous Youths Forum, a momentous occasion that brought together youths from various communities .


Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, National President of OOIYSF, delivered an address highlighting the importance of youth participation in community development. He thanked the Oloto, Alagere, and Aare royal fathers for supporting Oke-Ogun youths .


Dr. Ojedokun emphasized the need for youths to have a positive mindset towards Ofikiland and Oke-Ogun's development, encouraging them to take ownership of their communities' progress . He urged youths to engage in developmental politics and seize employment opportunities .


The event fostered unity among Ageree, Oto, and Aare youths . Comrade Adekola Sodiq was congratulated for his contributions to the Ofiki Youths Forum movement . Comrade Omofoyewa Jide emphasized security as a vital aspect of community development.


The OOIYSF reaffirms its commitment to empowering youths and promoting Oke-Ogun's development .
