𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐄‑𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐘

𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐄‑𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲,

First of all, let me sincerely 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. Your recent birthday celebration, where you blessed people with cars and support, has once again shown the kind of heart you carry.

𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭.

I watched the videos, and while many saw luxury, I saw something deeper, 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲.

𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.

𝐒𝐢𝐫, 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐎𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐧, a marginalized region in Oyo State with immense talent but very limited exposure. Over the years, I have been building myself with the little resources I have:

1. 𝐈 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜

2. 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐢𝐱 𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨

3. 𝐈 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬

4. 𝐈 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞

5. 𝐈 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 (www.eliteschoolsafrica.com, www.aviatorscircle.com, www.okeogunmarket.com etc).

𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 www.okeogunmarket.com, 𝐚 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦, Okeogun Multimedia TV, the website is currently being developed (www.okeoguntv.com)

𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝐈 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐧-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚.

With just small resources, people already see my work as something big. That alone tells me that the vision is valid.

But I have come to understand something…

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.

The value of one car, when placed in the right hands, can build:

-𝐀 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦.

-𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐮𝐛 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬.

-𝐀 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐛𝐬.

-𝐀 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧.

-𝐀 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

I am not writing this to question your generosity. In fact, I 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐭.

I am writing because I believe that beyond gifts, there are 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝. And I am one of those visions.

𝐌𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞:

To build a media and digital ecosystem in Okeogun that will:

-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬.

-𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬.

-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

-𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬.

-𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐩.

I believe that with the right support, this vision will not only succeed but also impact thousands of lives.

Whether or not this message reaches you, I will 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, because I believe that 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

But if it does reach you, I want you to know that there is a 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲,

MD DOLLY ✍️ writing from Okeho, Okeogun, Oyo State, Nigeria.
