*PLANT A TREE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS: BUILDING A GREATER OKE-OGUN TOGETHER*
Let us come together to plant a tree in Oke-Ogun a powerful symbol of unity, hope, and prosperity for generations yet unborn. Just as a tree grows strong with care and patience, so must we nurture our land and our people with dedication, love, and a shared vision for progress.
As we plant this tree, let it remind us of our responsibility to build a community that values equality, inclusiveness, peace, and mutual respect. A community where everyone—young and old—has a role to play in shaping a brighter future.
Let us stop the habit of bringing down those who stand tall among us. Instead of cutting down the trees that rise above others, let us celebrate and support them, because their success brings pride and progress to the whole of Oke-Ogun.
*Let us also avoid throwing stones that wound the lives and dreams of others. Rather, let us extend hands of support, encouragement, and compassion, lifting one another higher in the spirit of brotherhood and unity.*
For too long, walls of discrimination, division, and misunderstanding have separated us. Today, *we must resolve to break down those walls and replace them with bridges of cooperation, understanding, and shared purpose.*
*Religion and cultural differences should never be used as tools to divide us or limit the potential of our future generations. Instead, let them become sources of strength that enrich our diversity and deepen our unity as one people.*
Together, let us build an Oke-Ogun where every individual has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and flourish, regardless of background, belief, or status. A land where education, empathy, innovation, and community development are our guiding values.
As the tree we plant grows, may it provide shade of wisdom on our streets, shelter of love in our homes, and seeds of hope in our hearts. May its fruits represent the rewards of our collective efforts nourishing our communities, strengthening our unity, and inspiring future generations.
*Let us put aside unnecessary political differences and focus on the greater mission: the progress, unity, and development of our beloved Oke-Ogun land.*
Happy Friday to you all.
Sincerely,
Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan
