*SECURITY AWARENESS: THE FUTURE OF OKE-OGUN IS IN DANGER,*

The Oke-Ogun Indigenous

Youths Solidarity Forum (OOIYSF), under the leadership of comrade Dr ojedokun Jonathan. wishes to draw the attention of all communities across Oke-Ogun to the urgent need for increased security awareness and the protection of our land, our heritage, and the safety of our people.

Oke-Ogun has always been known as a peaceful and hospitable land where different people coexist in harmony. Our communities have long been respected for their unity, culture, and strong traditional values. However, in recent times, there have been growing concerns about the safety and security of our environment, which require urgent attention from every son and daughter of Oke-Ogun.

We therefore appeal to all community leaders, family heads, landlords, farmers, and custodians of ancestral lands to be very careful and responsible when allocating, leasing, or selling land within our communities. The continuous and uncontrolled settlement of unfamiliar people in our land without proper background checks may pose serious security challenges to our communities and to future generations.

Our message is clear: the future of Oke-Ogun must be protected.

We urge all sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun not to allow sentiments, religion, or temporary financial gain to endanger the long-term safety of our land. Land is a sacred inheritance from our forefathers, and we must ensure that it remains secure for our children and generations yet unborn.

While Oke-Ogun remains a welcoming land to all peaceful and law-abiding people, we must also be vigilant and responsible in protecting our environment. Anyone seeking to settle or acquire land within our communities must be properly identified and verified to ensure that the peace and stability of our land are not threatened.

Furthermore, we humbly call on our Royal Fathers, traditional rulers, and community chiefs across Oke-Ogun to continue guiding their communities with wisdom and foresight. The traditional institutions remain the backbone of peace and order in our land, and their leadership is essential in promoting vigilance, unity, and community security.

We also call on the youths of Oke-Ogun to remain alert, responsible, and supportive of all lawful efforts aimed at protecting our communities. Security is a collective responsibility, and every individual has a role to play in ensuring that our villages, towns, and farmlands remain safe.

The Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum (OOIYSF) strongly believes that through cooperation between community leaders, traditional institutions, youths, and security agencies, we can prevent threats and maintain the peaceful reputation of Oke-Ogun.

Let us stand together, remain vigilant, and work collectively to protect our ancestral heritage, our communities, and the future of our children.

Together, we can safeguard Oke-Ogun and ensure that it remains a land of peace, security, and prosperity for generations to come.
