ISEYIN COLLEGE OF HEALTH IS NOT A SCAM: A CALL FOR TRUTH, PATIENCE, AND FAIRNESS

In recent times, there have been misleading narratives and unfounded claims circulating about Iseyin College of Health. These claims, driven by misinformation and mischief, seek to create panic among students and discredit a growing institution that is committed to academic excellence and professional development in the health sector.

Let it be stated clearly and without ambiguity: Iseyin College of Health is not a scam. What the institution is currently undergoing is a standard regulatory and accreditation process as required by the appropriate authorities, particularly the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Accreditation is not an overnight exercise. It is a structured, thorough, and often demanding process that involves multiple stages  documentation, facility inspection, curriculum verification, staffing assessment, and compliance with national educational standards. These are not shortcuts any serious institution can bypass, and Iseyin College of Health has been actively engaging and complying with these requirements.

It is therefore both unfair and irresponsible for individuals to exploit this transitional phase to spread falsehood, incite fear, and mislead unsuspecting students and parents.

We call on all students, stakeholders, and the general public to remain calm, stay informed, and ignore mischievous elements whose intentions are clearly not in the interest of educational progress or youth development.

At the same time, the Leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) respectfully appeals to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to expedite the accreditation process. Institutions like Iseyin College of Health represent hope for many young Nigerians seeking quality education and a pathway into the healthcare profession.

Delays in accreditation not only affect the institution but also the aspirations of hundreds of students who are eager to build their future.

Education is a pillar of national growth, and every genuine effort to expand access and opportunity should be supported, not sabotaged.

We stand for truth. We stand with our students. We stand for progress. We stand with Iseyin College of Health.

Let us reject misinformation and collectively protect the integrity of our educational institutions.

National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS)  will not support any illegality from any institutions.
