OKE-OGUN INDIGENOUS YOUTHS SOLIDARITY FORUM HONOURS PRINCE REMI ADEGBOLA WITH LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AWARD





The Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum (OOIYSF), under the dynamic leadership of Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, proudly honoured Prince Remi Adegbola with an Award of Leadership Excellence during his birthday celebration held at the Saki Recreation Club.

The event attracted several dignitaries and prominent personalities from across Oke-Ogun, including Chief Onifade, Mr. Ailako Sola, Ambassador Pastor Adebayo Shittu, Mama Omotayo Amuo, Mama Bola Awise, Mama Mosumola Shittu, Prince Segun Omofoyewa, and Comrade Afolabi Sunkami, among others.

The award was presented in recognition of Prince Remi Adegbola’s immense contributions to the development of Oke-Ogun. As a distinguished writer and author of several books focused on the history and progress of Oke-Ogun, his intellectual contributions continue to inspire growth and unity within the region.

Speaking at the event, the dignitaries showered praises on the celebrant. Chief Onifade commended Prince Adegbola for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of Oke-Ogun. Ambassador Pastor Adebayo Shittu described him as a loyal and dependable friend, while also acknowledging his impactful role in community development.

Members of the Baptist High School, Saki Old Students Association also expressed their appreciation, applauding Prince Adegbola for his remarkable contributions to the growth and reputation of the institution.

In his remarks, the National President of OOIYSF, Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, used the opportunity to call on all sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun to unite and support the emergence of an Oke-Ogun indigene as Governor by 2027. He further emphasized the needs of the Forum, including a bus, motorcycles, and a constituency office, to enhance its operations and outreach.

He concluded with a strong message of hope and unity, reaffirming that Oke-Ogun must be great.
