OKE-OGUN INDIGENOUS YOUTHS SOLIDARITY FORUM DEMANDS APOLOGY FROM SARAFA ABIODUN ALI, WARNS AGAINST DISRESPECT TO OKE-OGUN PEOPLE
The Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum has issued a strong warning to Senator ALI, urging him to immediately apologize to the sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun and withdraw his recent statement, which has been widely perceived as disrespectful and divisive.
Oke-Ogun remains a land rooted in honor, dignity, and mutual respect for all zones in Oyo State. However, any attempt to undermine or disregard the importance of other regions is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The Forum firmly states that leadership, especially at the level of governorship, requires unity, inclusiveness, and respect for all geopolitical zones. Unfortunately, the actions and utterances of Senator Sarafa Ali have raised serious concerns about his suitability for such a critical position under the APC in Oyo State.
Now more than ever, the people of Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun, Ibarapa, and Oyo must come together in solidarity to demand fairness, equity, and rightful political representation. The time has come for all marginalized zones to speak with one voice.
The Forum further warns that if the APC proceeds to present Senator Sarafa Ali as its gubernatorial candidate in 2027, the party risks facing massive rejection at the polls.
“Ti APC ba fun Sarafa Ali ni ticket, yóò lùlẹ̀ ní 2027.”
(If APC gives Sarafa Ali the ticket, the ground will shake in 2027.)
The Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum remains committed to justice, fairness, and the collective interest of all zones in Oyo State.
Signed:
Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum.
