He described the deceased as a loving mother, compassionate caregiver, and devoted Christian who contributed significantly to the growth of the church and the well-being of her community.
Also speaking, Pastor Michael Borokini, brother of the deceased, remarked that her passing has left a vacuum that is difficult to fill. He encouraged the family to remain united and to continue upholding her values of love, kindness, and selflessness.
In his tribute, the first son of the deceased, Engr. Babatunde Odeyemi, who travelled from Canada, described his mother as a woman of substance whose legacy continues to inspire the family. The event also featured musical and cultural performances, with students of Excel College, Okaka, and gospel artiste Femi Oorun, popularly known as Femi Solar, entertaining guests.
The ceremony concluded with prayers and heartfelt reflections on a life dedicated to service, humility, and unwavering commitment to humanity.
