*OKE-OGUN YOUTHS: DON'T SELL YOUR VOTE FOR GOVERNORSHIP IN 2027 – DEMAND DEVELOPMENT FOR OUR REGION.*
The 2027 governorship election presents a great opportunity for the people of Oke-Ogun to unite and demand the development our region truly deserves. This is not the time to sell our votes for temporary gains; it is the time to negotiate for the future of our land and our people.
As youths of Oke-Ogun, we must stand together and ensure that any governorship candidate seeking our support is committed to the growth and development of our region. Our votes are valuable, and they must be exchanged for meaningful progress, not empty promises.
*Our demands should include:*
- Construction and rehabilitation of roads across Oke-Ogun.
- Improved healthcare services and health insurance coverage.
- Quality education and better learning facilities.
- Employment and empowerment opportunities for youths.
- Increased political appointments and representation for Oke-Ogun indigenes.
- Recognition, promotion, and support for our traditional rulers.
- Rural development projects and social infrastructure.
- Security and economic development initiatives.
As the National President of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum (OOIYSF), I have commenced a sensitization campaign across radio stations and other media platforms to educate and mobilize our youths. Join us every Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM on JFM 95.5, as well as on other radio stations across Oke-Ogun. You can also follow and watch our activities on the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum Facebook Page.
Furthermore, *I encourage all Oke-Ogun youths to participate in the 2026 Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Annual Get-Together, scheduled to hold at Igboho City Hall on July 16.*
This gathering will provide an opportunity for us to discuss the future of our region and strengthen our collective voice.
Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Oke-Ogun. Let us remain united, focused, and committed to the development of our homeland.
Oke-Ogun Must Be Developed!
Signed:
Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan
