A JOYOUS CONCLUSION TO THE 2026 ANNUAL GET-TOGETHER AT FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, IGBOPE

Today marked the grand finale of the 2026 Annual Get-Together of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum, and we return all glory to Almighty God for the success of the entire programme.

The concluding Thanksgiving Service held at the First Baptist Church, Igbope, was a joyful celebration of God’s goodness, protection, mercy, and blessings throughout the programme. It was a moment of gratitude as youths and stakeholders from across Oke-Ogun came together to appreciate God for a successful and hitch-free annual get-together.

Speaking during the service, the President of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum, Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the success of the programme, which began on Thursday and concluded today. He thanked God for the protection of all participants who travelled from different towns and communities across Oke-Ogun, noting that no accident or major incident was recorded throughout the programme.

On behalf of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum, the President presented gifts of exercise books to the church and called on the youths in attendance to assist in the distribution of rice to the church. The gifts were graciously received by the Pastor of the church.

The Pastor appreciated the leadership and members of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum for their commitment, sacrifice, and dedication to the progress and development of Oke-Ogun. He commended Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan and other members of the leadership for their vision and passion for youth development.

He encouraged the youths to remain focused, stand firmly by their vision and mission, and continue to work for the advancement of Oke-Ogun. He emphasized the importance of moving forward without looking back, stressing that the future of Oke-Ogun depends on unity, determination, and collective action.

The Pastor further called on the people of Oke-Ogun to move forward together, work in unity, and continue to advocate for the development and progress of the region, including the aspiration for the creation of Oke-Ogun State.

As the 2026 Annual Get-Together comes to a successful conclusion, we sincerely appreciate Almighty God, our Royal Fathers, religious leaders, elders, stakeholders, sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun, and all members of the Oke-Ogun Indigenous Youths Solidarity Forum for their support and participation.

We also appreciate the leadership of our President, Comrade Dr. Ojedokun Jonathan, and all members of the National Executive Council for their commitment and tireless efforts towards the success of the programme.

Together, we shall continue to unite, serve, empower our youths, preserve our heritage, and work collectively for a greater and more prosperous Oke-Ogun.
